The new T. rex

Yes, my T. rex just got a new update.

I trimmed off some of his feathers follwoing the advice of paleosir, and I also darkened his colors a little (to help him better as an ambush predator)

You may have noticed I just called T. rex an ambush predator. Why? Because a paper was just published 5 days ago(!) (from the posting of this picture) that drastically reduced T. rex's running speed. Despite being shown as able to run extremely fast in popullar culture, the new findings reduce this speed to just 27 kilometers (17 miles) an hour. In fact, the world's fastest human, Usain Bolt, can even outrun him by a lot!

This reduced speed has fueled the speculation that T. rex ambushed its prey instead of chasing after it, in order to avoid breaking its legs a lot. 

So here it is guys, the new, fresh-off-the-paleontological-oven, T. rex!
